Come join us for a massively lekker weekend kuier beneath the Karoo stars. Expect good food, farm sunsets, fairy lights and plenty of family time.
We’ll be based at the Royal Hotel Steytlerville. Accommodation from Friday to Monday is covered — arrive earlier or stay longer if you like; please contact Johan (084 487 8839) at the hotel to book extra nights. The wedding itself is on a farm outside Steytlerville.
Arrivals & check‑in at the Royal Hotel. Settle in, stretch your legs, and join us for a casual kuier.
Wedding Day! Ceremony at 3:00 PM, followed by sunset snacks and a long‑table feast under the lights — food provided by us. A cash bar will be available for drinks.
Lazy brunch on us — come hungry! Then explore, nap, or catch up with family.
Farewells & departures. Travel safely.
Food & drinks: we’re covering the dinner on Saturday and Sunday brunch; other meals are for your account. A cash bar will operate at the reception.
Weather: in early autumn is usually mild with the least wind risk, but Karoo evenings can cool down — please pack a light layer just in case.
Getting there is part of the adventure. You can drive, or fly to Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) — a Friday shuttle can be arranged from the airport. You can also fly into George, but we won’t be providing transport from George.
